Can we please get a direct export to a computer readable file? Like txt or excel? I would love to be able to visualize my data my way and not through 3rd party apps.

I am connected to Google Fit, however, it seems like Fossil only shares HR information with Google Fit and not Steps.

I have a Hybrid HR.  I bought one to more accurately track my steps and report them back to my employer.  The system they use, Medikeeper, syncs with Google Fit.  One of two solutions will assist me with my issues:  Fossil's step data syncs with Google Fit or Fossil App syncs with Medikeeper.

I am having the same issue as Borin Kun.

Curious if there is a setting I am missing? I have the Hybrid HR as well and some data syncs over to google fit, but not all of it. Namely steps, which is probably the most important to me for tracking purposes so I can sync to my work's health tracking app.

I can see the connection from the fossil app to fit, and from fit I can see fossil as a connected app. That is really all I am seeing though. Nothing specific to choosing which data carries over. Thanks in advance for your help! Karyna

Ditto on Borin and Joseph's issue. Same thing happens for me. I see hardly any data making it over to Google Fit. Sleep data once in a while and that's about it. No step data at all.

I'm reporting back as I was able to resolve this issue with Fossil support's help. After pairing Fossil's app with Google Fit, you have to turn off "track your activity" in the settings of Google Fit. This forces the app to fetch the step data from the secondary source, in this case Fossil.

    Hi Cedric,

Borin's advice seems to have worked for me. It took a day or two, but looks like it's syncing now.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Any updates on first question, i.e. Devin's question about computer readable data (CSV, JSON, EXE, etc.)?

    Hi Stefan,

Regarding your concern, we sincerely apologize that currently there is no official process of data report available yet. This means that we are unable to issue a data report upon your request, and it's also not possible to export data manually from the app to a .csv or a .txt format.

However, we do listen to your feedback and will notify the relevant teams for further improvement. Please bear with us in the meantime.
