    Hi ,
    I have purchased fossil gen 5 today .
    Battrey is draining very fast ( not lasting more than 4 hours )
    Have disabled many battery consuming apps / functions but i dont think that has helped.
    Awaiting your positive reply.

    Hello, the same here. I purchased the watch last week. Today I left home at 8:00 and by 12:30 the battery was dead (went into watch only mode). I was tracking my walk in downtown Chicago with gps on. However, this is very frustrating. I am considering to return it. Do you have any feedback that can help?

    I purchased the DW6F1 and the battery will only last 3 hours tops! Only to find out that if the battery is defective your warranty will not cover this problem????? Everything has been disabled to the point that it shouldnt be considered a smart watch any longer and still, less than 4 hours battery. I need the battery to last atleast 12 hours.

    Battery is draining to fast how to reduce it so that it will be able to stay atleast for 12 hours as i just purchased it on 1st jan 2020.

    My battery is draining in almost 10 hours gen 5 new watch bought on 1st jan 2020.
    Even i switched off wifi and screen always on is off
    And used the mode sometime so that screen will not open untill button is pressed and 5-10minutes of calls recieved on watch.
    With all this. This fossil smartwatch gives me almost 9 to 10 hours only .
    While buying it. the fossil seller told me that it will last atleast for 18-24hours for 6 month and after that i may reduce to 12-13 hours...
    But my watch battery is draining to fast .. in almost 9-10hours.

    How they will reach me by mail?

    I received the ossil q explorist HR for Christmas from my wife, my battery is only lasting about 4 hours I went from 100% and 7:00AM to 18% at 11:24AM I need help.

    Derrick... in reality it only works for 4hours with all functions on..
    To get just 10-11 hour battery life we have to compromise with the full functionality of the watch..
    They didn't tell us reality when we are buying there product...
    They always tell us the battery life of 2 days. Means 24 hours. False info provided by the company

    I recieved my fossil gen 5 on Dec 15th and i observed first 2 days battery was draining a lot then i was getting around 18 hours with tilt to wake and AOD on but from last week i am not getting even 8 hours battery backup same settings, no apps installed, location off. I am not sure what happened but now i have switched off tilt to wake still i am getting 9 hours only which is really bad

    Just got the Gen 5 watch and the battery drains ridiculously fast. Not even 8 hrs with decent usage TTW option enabled and paired to phone. It also drains the phone battery substantially (I use OP7). Now it's stuck on the screen displaying the Fossil Logo. Won't go past it. Tried pressing all three buttons and the center one to make it start but it just wouldn't. Have literally got it less than 40 hrs ago so this is just crazy. What is the solution here?

    You can unpair from your mobile phone wear os app in advance setting then it might work

    Will try it if this happens again but I m Goin to the gallery to lodge a complaint so hopefully I won't need to do more R&D. Just an update on the watch, around an hour ago I pressed all three buttons once and it conked off. Pressed the middle button to start and it has started now with 100% battery. A device for which we have shelled out more than 20 grand should not behave like this on Day 2. Extremely disappointing. Is anyone facing this issue of only seeing the Fossil Brand. Then the device vibrates and screen goes off. It vibrates once again and fossil is visible again. This keeps on repeating for some time. Disastrous imo.

    I bought fossil gen 5 in Dec 2019. I haven't using the watch from 4-5 days still its battery drain off in within a day or less than that. I have searched all possibilities but all futile.

    I bought the new gen 5 in Nov 2019, the battery last only 4 hour even after everything turned off. Please fix this fossil. After update the system is not smooth and there is lots of. Wifi connection issue. The battery is the worst. 2% in one minute drainage.

    Compre un gen 4 y también he notado que la batería no llega al final de el día tengo que quitármelo después de usarlo por 4 horas sin manipularlo demaciado ya que mi trabajo consiste en prestarle atención a mis pacientes ya he desactivado todas funciones que pueden consumir batería lo último que hice fue desactivar el wifi y dejarlo solo bluetooth por favor dentro de sus posibilidades necesito su ayuda gracias de antemano

    This is extremely disappointing !!!
    Battery last for only 4 hours on the first 2 days of using it is epic fail !!
    I tried everything..from the minimal options to even factory reset and nothing worked.
    The watch is 100%charged and the battery indicator says it will last for 1.5 hours.
    This has to be fixed.

    I bought the Fossil Gen 5 watch and battery life is only getting around 4 to 5 hours.
    While buying the item the salesperson said that it will long last around 24 hours.

    So we all really face the Same problem, Is FOSSIL working on something to give us the new watch with good battery.. ??

    The Draining is as fast as charging. Its not even lasting for 4-5 hours ,With Ext Mode only. It's reducing infront of my eyes 1 by 1 %.. Got Watch yesterday ONLY.. I use 5V, 1.1 A charger. Is charger adapter problem? Its takes 45 mins only to full charge..

    Pls give us solution. 23k INR is really a very big amount. and battery goes like this.. and i i see BATTERY IS NOT REPLACEABLE.

    I have had my Gen 4 for two weeks.  While I love the watch, the battery is only lasting about 6 hours.  This article says it should last 24.  Is there something wrong with the watch?
