- Make sure you are wearing your smartwatch higher and tighter on the arm with the sensors flat against your skin above the wrist bone.
- Temperature, sweat, irregular movement, and tattoos can cause interference. Keep the smartwatch as still as possible and remove any condensation between device and skin.
- If you have tattoos on your wrist, the sensors may not be able to get a reading. Wear your watch on the other hand if the skin is clear.
- If you have poor circulation or are cold, warm up first before starting your exercise to help improve heart rate readings
Note: Pertains to the Michael Kors Access Runway smartwatch only.

Am Using a Fossil Q Explorist DW4A Smartwatch. It is not giving me a real time heart rate through Google Fit. Ween I go to Measure the heart rate it tells me that no heart rate Sensor found. How can I get a real time heart rate on this smartwatch?
Bought my fossil gen 5 two months ago. Since last month, the sensor on the back of the watch did not blink green lights anymore and it could not detect heart or footstep count and kept on rebooting itself. After multiple attempts of rebooting and resetting the watch into factory-settings, the watch finally started to operate normally again. However, since yesterday night, the watch started to malfunction again, not able to keep track of my heart rate, green lights at the back of watch not blinking, rebooting itself. Is there any way to fix this? This is quite frustrating.
